MagiCon's Twisted Close up Competition

So this year we are running MagiCon Twisted Close up competition. It will be held on Saturday 30th April 2016 at the banquet dinner. 


Here are the rules below to be a competitor.


1. You have to be registered to attend at least the Saturday at the convention to take part in this competition. 

2. It is up to you how many tables you cover that night. You can enjoy your meal and work as many tables as you like. 

3. There will be secret judges at various tables. No one except the organisers will know who is judging you. 

4. You can only work before, in between meals and after before the cabaret show begins. 

5. You must be dressed for the occasion, it is a dinner after all. 

6. The winner will be announced in the cabaret performance that evening.

7. There will be a magical prize on offer to the overall winner on the night. 

As this competition is taking place at the dinner, we will only be able to take on a limited number of participants in this competition so it will be on a first come first serve basis. Again, you can only register if you are registered to attend Saturday full day at Belfast MagiCon 2016.

Belfast MagiCon is a
Table Magic Friendly Convention :)

I was inspired by my visit to the Magic Castle in Hollywood this year to introduce Card Tables to our own convention. 


I am hoping to have a few card tables scattered around the hotel for people to sit with one another, talk, perform and discuss magic, I may even have a few scheduled performers at these across the weekend too.


An excuse to perform more and talk magic with each other.
